Before anything is mixed I'll tell you what your hair can take. If it can't be done in one session, you'll hear that at the start. A disappointed client isn't worth the booking.

Who I am
Armen
I colour and cut in Los Angeles, on Ventura Blvd in Studio City. My training is Schwarzkopf Professional, and AirTouch is the technique I've built the whole of my work around.
Most of my week goes on blonde — AirTouch, balayage, and repairing colour that went wrong somewhere else. The rest is cutting.
I work in English, Russian and Armenian. In Studio City that isn't just convenience: when someone can describe their hair in their own language, nothing gets lost between what they wanted and what they get.

Condition before colour
Any shade is possible if the hair can survive it. When it can't, I'll offer the closest thing that looks good and doesn't wreck it.
The grow-out is part of the job
Colour isn't good on the day you walk out — it's good three months later. That's exactly why I build around AirTouch.
The studio

The studio sits on Ventura Blvd in Studio City. It's bright and quiet, which isn't only pleasant — in natural light colour reads the way it will read outside, rather than the way it reads under a lamp.
